Representing private pension holders, Monk & Partners have sold another quality trade counter investment this time in Saltash.

Having previously sold a block of 4 trade counter units at Valley Court, Plympton at the tail end of last year Monk & Partners were instructed to sell Libby Court on the established and popular Tamar View Industrial Estate, at Saltash comprising 5 small trade counter units.

Built in 2000 the units are occupied by two local businesses along with SW Ambulance NHS Trust and Plumb Centre and Parts Centre both part of the Wolseley Group of Companies.

After a marketing campaign, interest was received from a number of parties culminating in a sale to another private Pension holder.

John Slade commented “ these investments always prove popular to the market with strong yields being achieved particularly when the blocks are well maintained and with strong covenants in place.

We have had a long association with this property having sold the land to the owners who then developed the units themselves, instructed Monk & Partners to let, rent review and renew leases and finally sell the investment all over a 23 year period.  This has been a very stable investment seeing the same tenants remain within since construction and with substantial rental growth over the period.”
