New Lease for Stiga Ltd
Acting on behalf of the owners of Bluewater Estate, Bell Close, Plympton Monk & Partners are pleased to announce the renewal of a lease and granting of a new lease of additional space to Stiga Ltd manufacturers and distributors of the well known brand of lawnmowers and garden equipment.
Stiga previously occupied about 32,000 sq ft of industrial/warehouse floorspace at the Bluewater Estate and then an adjacent unit became available following the relocation of Devon Duvets last year enabling Stiga to snap up the additional 8600 sq ft giving them a total of nearly 41,000 sq ft.
The new owners acquired the Estate about 2 years ago and have been carrying out a process of active management improving the development for their numerous tenants.
Monk & Partners director of agency, John Slade said, “it was good to be able to agree terms with Stiga for an additional term as they have been located at Bluewater in various guises for many years and to see them expanding also is good for the area. The estate also has scope for some additional development where the new owners are exploring the opportunity of constructing further new units in a range of sizes to cater for the current strong market demand for space. Units from 10,000 sq ft to 25,000 sq ft will be available through ourselves.”
